I was really inspired when I started drawing this one. I had been working a lot with watercolor illustrations, as you can see in my previous posts, but I suddenly started going back to my old style. You may not have see some of my earlier drawings from a couple of years ago but I used to draw very detailed portraits (and I still do sometimes). That is a quality that reflects my personality a lot, focusing very much on ever component of the drawing and on every pencil stroke; doing something very detailed. Therefore, I really liked the idea of trying out a more photo-realistic fashion illustration and this happened.
I love Emma and it was only a matter of time before I started drawing her.
